Community & Specialist SEND Experience

Leah has several years of experience working in the NHS in Community Care, Neurological Rehabilitation and Learning Disability Services. She also has 6 years of experience as a Therapy Service Lead in Specialist Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) settings, working with children and young adults with complex additional needs.

Advanced Training & Clinical Skills

After graduating from the University of Nottingham in 2014, Leah completed additional training including APPI Pilates Matwork and postgraduate MSc modules in Rehabilitation. She has run rehabilitation exercise classes for balance and neurological conditions as well as hydrotherapy services. Her broad clinical skills allow her to assess and treat clients with falls and frailty, orthopaedic injuries, neurological conditions (such as Parkinson’s and MS), and learning disabilities.
