No, you do not need a GP referral. You can contact Medella directly to arrange a private home visit for physiotherapy or occupational therapy immediately. We can communicate with your GP later if you wish.
What is the difference between Home Physio and Occupational Therapy?
Physiotherapy typically focuses on mobility, strength, balance, and physical function (e.g., walking after a fall). Occupational Therapy (OT) focuses on daily living skills, home adaptations, and equipment to help you live independently. We often combine both for the best results.
