Background and Experience

Lucy graduated from Cardiff University in 2013. She completed junior rotations at Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals, which provided her with a strong foundation in neurology, elderly care, respiratory, musculoskeletal outpatients, and orthopaedics. She then specialised in Neurology, gaining a senior role working with patients with conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s, and MS in both acute and community settings.

Lucy has a breadth of experience in community care, including working at an inpatient rehabilitation centre in Bournemouth. Keen to keep learning, she has completed courses in Movement Science and Motivational Interviewing and is also a qualified Pilates instructor. Alongside her work for Medella, Lucy currently works in Pulmonary Rehabilitation for Dorset Healthcare, further expanding her expertise in the respiratory field. Always keen to develop her skills, she is also completing a diploma in the management of chronic respiratory disease.
