My Approach to Care
“With over two decades of experience, my goal is to provide expert, evidence-based care tailored to your specific condition. I am dedicated to managing complex neurological and vestibular issues to help you improve your balance, function, and confidence.”
Why Choose Home Visits?
Recovering in your own environment is often more effective than visiting a clinic. We eliminate the stress of travel and waiting rooms, allowing us to assess your mobility where it matters most—safely in your own home. This approach is central to Medella’s mission of helping adults regain independence without the hassle of hospital appointments.
Background and Experience
With twenty years of clinical experience, Julia has developed specialist expertise in Neuro Rehabilitation, enabling her to treat and advise on the management of common neurological disorders such as Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s disease, and balance or gait disorders. She has also completed postgraduate study in Orthopaedic Medicine, giving her vast experience in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Julia’s other area of clinical expertise includes vestibular assessment and rehabilitation. She focuses on the prevention of falls in older adults, which are often caused by balance and gait disorders secondary to vestibular disturbance. By addressing these underlying issues, she helps clients improve their stability and regain confidence.
