Background and Experience
Rebecca graduated from Keele University in 2009. She initially worked in an orthopaedic and musculoskeletal setting before commencing her junior rotations at Bournemouth Hospital. Here she experienced a variety of clinical areas including stroke rehabilitation, respiratory including ITU, outpatient musculoskeletal and elderly care.
In 2013, Rebecca progressed to a senior position within a neurological therapy team, working both in inpatient care and the community with a variety of neurological patients including stroke, brain injury, Guillain-Barré and multiple sclerosis. She now works at Christchurch Hospital leading the physiotherapy team where her specialism has advanced to include complex falls prevention and vestibular / dizzy patients. She has completed a masters module at Nottingham University in stroke rehabilitation and has attended a number of weekend courses for neurological and vestibular management.
