Specialising in: Neurological Rehabilitation and management including stroke, Parkinson’s and brain injury, and balance and falls prevention including dizziness and vestibular intervention.

Rebecca graduated from Keele University in 2009. She initially worked in an orthopaedic and musculoskeletal setting before commencing her junior rotations at Bournemouth Hospital. Here she experienced a variety of clinical areas including stroke rehabilitation, respiratory including ITU, outpatient musculoskeletal and elderly care. In 2013 she progressed to a senior position within a neurological therapy team working both in inpatient care and the community with a variety of neurological patients including stroke, brain injury, gullian barre and multiple sclerosis.
Rebecca now works at Christchurch Hospital leading the physiotherapy team where her specialism has advanced to include complex falls prevention and vestibular / dizzy patients. She has completed a masters module at Nottingham University in stroke rehabilitation and has attended a number of weekend courses for neurological and vestibular management. Day to day she enjoys seeing patients both in clinic and their own homes offering advice, education and providing tailored exercise programmes. Through her local NHS experience she is able to link and refer to other professionals including GP’s and social services if appropriate. Rebecca is passionate about providing holistic care to patients, working with people upon the things that matter most to them to optimise quality of life and independence.
