Our Home Visit Services
Medella provides private home physiotherapy and occupational therapy across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. Every service we offer is delivered in your own home — no clinics, no travel, no waiting rooms.
What makes us different is that we combine both physiotherapy and occupational therapy under one roof. This means your care is coordinated — your physio improves your movement and strength, while your OT ensures you can manage daily life safely and independently.
Physiotherapy
Our chartered physiotherapists specialise in restoring movement, reducing pain, and rebuilding strength — all through home visits. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing a long-term condition, or wanting to improve mobility, we bring expert treatment to your door.
Physiotherapy at home means we can assess how you move in your actual living space, create exercise programmes that use your own furniture and layout, and involve family members in your care. Your physio will work with you to set realistic goals and track your progress at every session.

Our occupational therapists take a truly holistic approach — looking at you as a whole person, not just your condition. We consider your environment, emotional wellbeing, cognitive needs, and personal aspirations to identify the barriers to the activities that matter most to you, then find practical, meaningful ways to help you re-engage.
Home-based OT is especially effective because we see your real environment — your actual stairs, bathroom, kitchen, and the furniture layout that helps or hinders you. Rehabilitation happens through purposeful daily tasks, not generic exercises, so it feels meaningful rather than clinical. Where physio and OT are needed together, your care is coordinated between our team from the start.
Home Adaptations & Safety
We assess how your home environment enables or hinders your independence, and recommend practical adaptations and equipment to keep you safe.

All our physiotherapy and occupational therapy services are delivered in your own home. For many patients — particularly older adults recovering from illness, injury, or surgery — home-based treatment is more effective and far more convenient than travelling to a clinic.
Real-World Assessment
We see how you move in your actual living space — your stairs, your bathroom, your kitchen — so treatment fits your life.
No Travel Required
No taxis, no waiting rooms, no struggling to get to a clinic. We come to you at a time that suits your routine.
Family Involvement
Your family can be part of your sessions — learning exercises, asking questions, and understanding your progress first-hand.
Coordinated Care
With physio and OT under one roof, your treatment is joined up. No repeating your story or chasing separate referrals.
