Background and Experience

Jo is a dedicated healthcare professional with over 24 years of experience as a physiotherapist. Since graduating, Jo has held various clinical and leadership roles in both the NHS and private practice. This diverse background has allowed her to gain extensive experience in treating a wide range of pathologies, including post-operative recovery, orthopaedic injuries, neurological conditions, and the management of frailty.

She has particular expertise in rapid response for patients in health crises, helping to stabilise conditions at home and avoid unnecessary hospital admissions.

Advanced Clinical Expertise

Jo’s commitment to continuous professional development ensures her patients receive the most up-to-date evidence-based care. She has completed the Advanced Practitioner Frailty Masterclass and has undertaken the first year of an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice at Bournemouth University. This advanced training significantly enhances her ability to assess, diagnose, and treat complex conditions in the home environment.
