My Approach to Care
“I am passionate about supporting you to achieve your goals and enhance your quality of life. I focus on building a strong rapport, making you feel at ease, and listening carefully to your difficulties so we can find the best solutions together.”
Why Choose Home Visits?
Recovering in your own environment is often more effective than visiting a clinic. We eliminate the stress of travel and waiting rooms, allowing us to assess your mobility and daily function where it matters most—safely in your own home. This approach is central to Medella’s mission of helping older adults regain independence without the hassle of hospital appointments.
Background and Experience
After graduating in 2009 and completing rotations at Bournemouth Hospital, Rosie realised her passion was helping people in their own homes. She moved into a social services setting where she became a specialist in adaptations and equipment provision. She has extensive experience working alongside councils, charities, and housing associations to support major adaptations such as stair lifts, level-access showers, and wheelchair ramps, enabling people to live independently.
Rosie currently works as a Senior Occupational Therapist in the NHS Community Stroke Rehabilitation team. She is highly experienced in assessing and treating stroke patients to maximise their recovery and support them in reaching their goals. Her up-to-date clinical knowledge covers upper limb rehabilitation, fatigue management, visual perception difficulties, anxiety management, and advice on driving following a stroke.
